Powerful and Personal

RP is an amazing vocalist, and as he performs you can just see the music affecting every part of his being. He really seems to enjoy his Band of Joy...each member is highlighted and honored by Plant at various points in the set. His new music with this band is delightful and playful, and pretty-near-perfect. His updates on some classics were well-done and recognizable, without being repeats of the masterful originals. It was a taste of glory for those of us who loved the early Led Zeppelin days, yet different enough to where you didn't feel like you had to compare the present with the past.
